Enjoyed a small delicious brick oven baked combination pizza at Wenelli's Pizza at 4215 Arden Way in Sacramento. This business establishment was like stepping into a time capsule from when I was a child back in 1985. I used to stop by this place to play video games back when I was going to elementary screwl. Super Mario Bros, Elevator Action, Star Wars, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Choplifter, Spy Hunter, Conmando, and Gauntlet are the games that were there years ago. It used to be a Round Table Pizza then it became AD PIZZA +?. Then Wenelli's Pizza has been there since 1992. Still great pizza ambiance with sports viewing on 2 big flat screen tvs. Pizza is brilliant!!
Wenelli's has a great atmosphere that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The staff is friendly, and the place has a welcoming, cozy vibe. I ordered a combo pizza for takeout, and it did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh and generous, and every bite was packed with flavor. You can really taste the quality in every slice. Whether you're dining in or grabbing food to go, this is easily one of the best pizza spots in Sacramento. I'll definitely be coming back!
Recently rediscovered this gem in Arden-Arcade and I'm so glad I did. Amazing pizza! Amazing staff! Amazing little location that rockets you back to the days of local restaurants being pillars of the community. You gotta grab a slice!
We called in an order for delivery. They estimated an hour and 15 minutes for delivery, but were there within an hour! I got a pizza and my husband got a calzone; both were delicious. I would definitely order from them again. They sounded busy when we called, with lots of background noise.
Pizza is very, very good. Service is always quick and the ranch is heaven. One of the best pizza's in Sacramento, certainly in the Arden-Arcade area!
The pizza and customer service was on point. The pizza took over 40 minutes to come out (so it's not a place to go to if you're starving -- like we were), but in the end it was worth the wait. The pizza was excellent. There is a big playhouse for kids right underneath the TV so it's definitely a good place to take families, despite the space not being the largest. Their cash register machine is old school though, so an issue that we had was that we had to tell the cashier to add a tip to the card (after we had already ran our card the first time). So... it's best to bring cash for a tip! Can't wait to return!
